UKHomefront School Visits
We have launched this brand new website so that we could help school children learn about the Homefront during World War 2.
We are re-enactors who have been regularly employed by all the major WW2 event management companies, and have helped in many tv programmes & films.
We have helped & adviced organisations from ITN to the National Trust.
We have helped authors researching the homefront & have many testimonials.
We are able to teach at schools across the length & breadth of Northern England and the Midlands often appearing at 40s events in this area.
Unicef advise that:-
Active engagement with things and ideas promotes mental activity that helps students retain new learning and integrate it with what they already know. That's how we have been doing things since 2005 !!!
Our aim is to help the school children of today learn what their great grandfather went through during WW2.
We do this by letting the children see and hold Wartime artefacts, by games which they all enjoy and by them asking questions.
Our apologies if you are looking for pictures of us at schools. Following the policy of most schools we do not publish images of children on this site.
This is NOT a “For Profits” business. We only charge enough to cover our expenses.
It is nearly always cheaper than a field trip and unlike those our visits are very much “hands on” & “interactive”
